Twin Flames

For the two flames that still burn

That which we saw was a mirror to what we needed to heal in ourselves

That which we felt was the truth in our hearts

That which we touched melted the wax protecting our skin

That which we shared was a part to the healing of our souls

That which we hurt was the pain needed for rebirth

That which we found is far greater than we lost

For these are two flames that will continuously burn

Brighter, stronger, together, apart

To provide the eternal light in the passages of life’s sometimes dark

But always connected in each other’s hearts
